How's your year so far?

Loaded question I know, but if you're reading this - I'll trust that things are not too terrible. But let me know -

I'm writing you on the day when my MUSEletter would normally be meeting inboxes. I thought I'd have an extra week what with 2025 starting on a Wednesday - so, either I'm already behind on things or I've been overly ambitious.

I'm hoping it's ambition that has bled-over from my 2024 Top 10 Whatever post. It's that #1 entry which inspired today's comic –

Redesigning 2025!

I'm of the opinion that optimism is an act of will. Or at least that's the spirit I approach these missives in. Thanks to the success of autumns crowdfunding project BOX OF TAPES: A Rock Opera I'm welcoming bunch of new subscribers. Thanks for joining me on my periodical missives chronicling the pursuit of one muse or another. Please check out the MUSEletter Archives for a bunch of other comics, reviews, interviews, announcements and other fun stuff.

I'd meant to offer you a 2025 version of my redesigned calendar. The one I presented to subscribers around this time last year. I've been calling it a Mid-Year Lens for nerdy reasons. The furthest I got was this thread on Bluesky 🦋 - the hot new social media platform of this year (or winter).

It helped me get a lot accomplished in 2024, but January is always a squishy time with the Lunar New Year imminent. Maybe I'll use the as a starting point for a newly designed calendar instead. Regardless, I'm hopeful to have something interesting to offer you for the occasion. Maybe it'll be an interview - though I do have the seeds of a fun comic appropriate for the new year. Such a comic would be published on aTigerTale.com it's also due for an update.
