March is always special because it marks the launch of this very MUSEletter (5 years ago now). It's also the month in which I was born (can we just say 10x times that many years go? ), it shouldn't be hard to guess around when 🍀 But let's get on to a new comic and other special announcements.

Just last week we celebrated the official 30 Year anniversary of Martial Arts' longest running comic-strip! Tiger's Tale - the comic-strip that would become the acclaimed graphic novel A Tiger's Tale was first published this month in 1996 launching what would become the longest running comic to be serialized in a martial arts magazine ever! That celebration also included the launch of a new digital publication Tiger Tales.

The Sun Gallery in Hayward California is making a whole room available for me to showcase Tiger's Tale as well as the past dozen years of kids books & comics I've created. The exhibition will run from March 13 through May 23, 2026. A reception and book signing will be held on March 21, 2026 from 12:00-3:00pm PST. I’ll be there - if you can make it, I hope you'll be there too.

UKGK at the Local Comic Shop!!!

I still get emails from my go-to comic shop, from back when I was hitting shops every Wednesday. The New Comics Day Lunch Break was an integral aspect to my work-week. The high intensity, deadline-driven work of publishing Kung Fu Tai Chi magazine meant having a reliable comic-shop close enough to visit on a lunch break was essential to enduring the grind. I no longer commute and spend more time making comics than reading them, but Alex at Treasure Island Comics has always been the first person I emailed when on the hunt for a comic. That's why I'm so excited that his is the first comic shop in-the-world to offer UNDEAD KUNGFU GHOST KILLER #1! 

His shop in Fremont California is the only place where you'll be able to get a copy of the Kickstarter Exclusive - before my gallery show opens. And it may be the only place you can find it once these last few gallery copies sell out! So… maybe swing by on Wednesday, or give 'em a follow on Insta - @TIcomics
