7 days to do this one thing!

The year of A Tiger's Tale begins in 7 days and I hope you'll click 1 button!

Kickstar.aTigersTale.com

Helping is easy and costs nothing.
Just click that button!

This button is important because Kickstarter wants to know that there are folks, such as yourself, who are interested in seeing this campaign succeed.
Clicking that button or any of those images will take you to my pre-launch page. Come next week, that page will host the kickstarter campaign which I've been working towards for the past 40+ weeks. The reason that "Notify me on launch" button is valuable is because Kickstarter will begin calculating the potential success of the project based on early interest and that comprised of two things; Day 1 Pledges (I'll get to that next week) and Followers of the project (those who've clicked Notify Me).

If you do nothing else for this campaign than hit Notify Me; you've done me a great favor. Now I'll apologize in advance as Kickstarter will ask you to sign-up, using facebook, or google or your apple account; or you'll be asked to make an account which can be  annoying but if you stick-it-out and become follower 21 or more I promise I'll do my best to make it worth your effort.

~ Send me a screen-image of your confirmation in a reply, let me know what number you arrive at, and I'll be sure to include some extra special swag!

So, what does it mean?

Kickstarter.com's mission is to help bring creative projects to life. They believe that art and creative expression are essential to a healthy and vibrant society, and the space to create requires protection. They   are so committed to that mission, they wrote it into their business model. They are a Public Benefit Corporation—a for-profit company that prioritizes positive outcomes for society as much as our shareholders.

Thousands of creative projects are funding on Kickstarter at any given moment. Each project is independently created and crafted by the person behind it. Every creator sets their funding goal and deadline (for me: end-of-February). If people like the project, they can pledge money to make it happen. If the project succeeds in reaching its funding goal, all backers' credit cards are charged when time expires. If the project falls short, no one is charged. Funding on Kickstarter is all-or-nothing.

Generally speaking, backers are rallying around their friends' projects. Some are supporting people they've long admired. Many are just inspired by a new idea. Others are inspired by a project's rewards — a copy of what's being made, a limited edition, or a custom experience related to the project.

Backing a project is more than just giving someone money. It's supporting their dream to create something that they want to see exist in the world.
