Interviewing the writer of SHRUB
Later this month video/written interview will hit online platforms. It's an Interview with the writer/creator of the SHRUB - a comic series about to be collected into a single edition by Fanbase Press. Also a part of this interview was editor-in-chief of Fanbase Press Barbra Dillon. I had the privilege of being interviewed by Barbra during last year's campaign for UNDEAD KUNGFU GHOST KILLER β I'd been looking for the opportunity to return the favor.

You'll have to watch the social medias for when that interview goes live. Sometime around the 3rd week of September? I understand their campaign will launch next week, so if you'd like to be reminded you can click the image. Otherwise, here's author Shane Portman explaining the project himself. π

Shane Portman: It's about a lonely shrub who winds up befriending these two grieving siblings, and they head off on this road trip adventure to find the shrub's last known relative, who apparently is a background actor in Hollywood. So they're heading off on this road trip to Hollywood.
And in the process, they go through a journey where they are reconnecting with each other and learning to let their grief take root, which is something they hadn't done. So the series, the theme of the series is this idea of letting your grief take root and, you know, reconnecting and finding connections.
