As of this writing I’m faced with the question of how to differentiate an update from the official A Tiger’s Tale newsletter and the monthly MUSEletter which I send to you. While both missive are penned (typed) by yours truly, there’s meant to be a difference. With Tiger Talk those missives are sent from the author of the A TIGER’s TALE graphic novel series (which I’ll update you on shortly), while these muses are written in pursuit of that ever elusive muse.

Normally it’s not a big deal but dates are converging all around this particular Tuesday, There are a few unforeseen dynamics to my timing these days. I’m running a campaign that cuts across both Super Bowl Sunday as well as Valentine’s day - folks will most likely have other priorities than to seek out live streams or check my Kickstarter campaign page for updates.

While that’s happening I’m neck-deep in scheduling a Big-Ticket interview with some super-star comic talent based in Europe; that chance to re-connect with an art hero definitely has me willing to loose sleep to make that happen. Thankfully that will be a video interview with no need to transcribe it, because the rest of this week will also require time spent writing the official KungFuMagazine.com review for ANT-MAN & THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA!

So I’m looking to maintain my writing momentum wth this message to you. I’m doing all of this for the love of comics and the desire to carve out a space in that industry for myself. That’s why rather than spending the days of my campaign trying to get interviewed on a variety of platform (good advice) I’m mostly scheduling interview for people to appear on my platform. That’s not to say I haven’t had the privilege of being the subject of some high quality interviewers; of the three that come to mind (with a 4th & 5th eminent) the Live radio interview with San Francisco’s KS102.5 FM local radio has been the most difficult to track down. The other two follow -

As for the guests which have appeared on my platform? Well, as of this writing we’ve has 16 guests on THE COMICS FU SHOW live stream and just premiered our first pre-recorded interview. The Legendary writer of comic’s most notorious Indie-comic FAUST; Mr. David Quinn joined us to discuss his writing process, comics then and now, Dr. Strange and the writer’s persona.

Then on Wednesday 2/15  we will host 3 very special Live Streams on THE COMICS FU SHOW all of which you can read about in the blog posts below.

If you haven’t caught any of the replays from THE COMICS FU SHOW, they can be found at Kickstart.aTigersTale.com

I’m quite pleased with the depth and diversity of our conversations. We’ve talked Kung Fu in a variety of forms Martial, Musical, Alchemical. We’ve also spotlighted a number of indie comics, and not just the other titles seeking funding on Kickstarter. Plus with our up-coming guests, we’ll cover animation,T.V. and perhaps film. Watch for more as I provide details of that next week.

until then…
