Gōngxǐ fācái!

If you're reading this email on a Sunday, then I've got a surprise for you! As I'm sure you're well aware, I've been telling anyone who'd listen that the crowdfunding campaign for Volume 2 of my very-long in the works middle-grade graphic novel - A TIGER's TALE launches 1/23/23!

Well, that's about to change; in a way. In coordination with Kurtis Fujita, my friend and co-host on THE COMICS FU SHOW we will be streaming our Live Lunar New Year Special TONIGHT!

1/22/23 at 9:00pm PST [12:00 midnight EST]

Along with a few special surprises, we'll host the first in a series of ASK THE KUNG FU MASTER sessions. While these sessions will appeal to comic creators who'd like to punch up their action scenes and fight choreography, tonight we'll invite anyone who has burning historical or philosophical questions in need of answers.

Or if you want to discuss favorite fight scenes, we can do that too. I'm just hoping to find some familiar folks, because I'll be waiting for someone, anyone really, to ask that I activate the A TIGER's TALE campaign early,  it'll still count as the 23rd (on the east coast at least).

If you can't make tonight's live stream, worry not. I will re-play it the following morning, during my personal Live-Stream Launch. Then, on January 24th the first #TigerTuesday of the New Year we will host an especially big day of online events. Beginning with Kung Fu Tea at 12:00PST noon, we'll continue until well after-dark!
