The ongoing, improvised comics collaboration features artists from around the world. Multiple JAM comic strips run concurrently on the web site: ComicJams.net and an artist is free to join any of them, or contribute to favorite jams multiple times. Each artist joining a JAM is placed in a queue behind the last artist who joined previously. Once that artist has completed their contributing page the newest artist can then produce the JAM’s following page. Some JAMS are more specific than others in their tone, theme or style, artists are generally free to contribute to the collaborative story in the way the deem best.
