Today the second member of Kids Comics Unite’s Crowdfunding Crucible – the curriculum I was invited to develop and teach over these past two months, launched their first crowdfunding campaign. As I mentioned earlier, the purpose of the crucible was to quickly prepare a creator and their project for their first campaign. The first of our members launched on July 6th and is currently at 148% so I look upon the stealth launch of this second crucible campaign optimistically.

Among our two crucible members (so far) are about a half-dozen members of the Kids Comics Unite community. A couple of them have already reached their initial funding goals. Plus there are more to come – including my own.
