Hispanic Heritage Month
(Sept. 15th to Oct. 15th 2023)
The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum join in paying tribute to the generations of Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced and enriched our nation and society.
What better way to celebrate this month than to reveal the newly arrived paperback of Lucy Veloz: High-Flying Princess. In 2020 author Alex Hernandez and I crafted this tale of adventure and inventiveness! The goal was to give the world a sci-fi princess that not only reflects a BiPOC future, but is the hero of her own adventures. Not all princesses need saving!
