It’s official, I’m organizing the first ever KIDS COMICS UNITE-UP! It’s a small informal meet-up of members from the online community KidsComicsUnite.com
This event is open to any local member of KCU and will begin at 3:00pm PST Saturday January 27th 2024. Hosted by the Sun Gallery in Hayward California. The 33rd Annual Children’s Book illustrator Exhibit will be on display and open to the public: and kid friendly! The gallery closes to the public at 4:00pm but we’ll have access to their maker-space until, 5:00 – 5:30pm. I figure the first hour could be social, hang out, check out the gallery etc. Then after the gallery closes to the public we can work a bit more intimately or play some creative games – a comics Jam? An exquisite corpse? Still life drawing?
I may even print out name-tags for whomever RSVP’s
