Thirty years ago the very first episode of Tiger’s Tale was published. That episode was printed in the premiere issue of World of Martial Arts magazine. The following episode would see print in the iconic issue of what was then titled Kung Fu Qigong magazine. This issue was also significant because it marked the first time a Shaolin monk was featured in an English language magazine.
30 Year Celebration
To celebrate this comic’s 30 year anniversary the Sun Gallery in Hayward California is making this project a showcase in their 35th Annual Children’s Book Illustrator Exhibition. The exhibition will run from March 13 through May 23, 2026. An in-person reception and book signing will be held on March 21, 2026 from 12:00-3:00pm PST. I’ll be there.
