As a companion to the review I wrote for KungFuMagazine.com I worked up a fairly quick digital sketch. An attempt to capture my 30+ year old recollections of the miniseries from which the movie was loosely adapted.
Something I never mentioned in the review; what is the deal with the self surgery in movies these days? The first one I recall was that scene in PROMETHEUS and now a similar scene in THE WOLVERINE. Strange.
